Headed home

It’s been a great trip to San Francisco. Dominic took great care of me while here. I flew out here to to finish mixing the 2 Canibus records I did. When i got in on friday when went straight to the studio only to find the protools sessions were not there. Since the tracks were done awhile ago, I thought that the files where there already. After a quick panic and scurry of phone calls, It hit me. Jut re-do the tracks and thats what I did. I had the engineer set up a drum kit and get me a midi controller to re-play some of the elements. Everything went great and within a couple hrs we were done with the first one and on to the next. We got some video footage of the process so I hope the utilize that while promoting the Canibus records. The next day I finished the 2nd track and it was a rap! After that Zumbi of Zion I came to the studio so we could do our photo shoot for our Burnerz project. By Monday, Zumbi and I had finished a photo shot, Video and interview for Last fm. San Fran update

what up yall, things are going well out here. I finished 2 joints for the new Canibus album. Joints came out bangin! I got video of the sessions so I’m sure that will be available at one point. I also got things poppin with Zumbi of Zion I. The Burnerz project is underway. Zumbi and I Got our photo shoot done, and interview at Last fm and got a video shot for the BURNERZ joint “Get Free”.

I miss Touring Europe

Me and my group K-otix did 2 European tours in early 2000. Here’s a clip from Poland. Poland was probably the weirdest place I had been to at the time. Very dark and gloomy but the crowds were very hype and loved music very much. Thank you Poland!

Quick Update

what up yall, sometimes I find myself trying to tackle too many things at one time. I was learning how to design my own site, finishing The Burnerz album, starting my album, building crates in serato and more! I gotta get back to the program, nt that I can’t handle all of those things at one but I start to loose focus. So here’s a few of the things first. The BURNERZ record is just about done. we will be doing a free EP first for everyone and then a full release of the album throughout most of the normal digital platforms. I’m flying out to oakland on on sept 11 to work on some things nd while I’m out there, me and Zumbi will have a chance to do a photo shoot and video for the upcoming release. After that, I think I should have my album close to being finished. I hope to have it ready by X-mas. Still getting the features ready, I’ll update yall on that soon.
